Miss Butler has flunked out of obedience school 3 times! She is a puppy
and distracted too easily. We finally found someone who can help us.
Thank God. He is a professional trainer, training cats, dogs and horses.
His facility is quite impressive. He not only spent time with her but
also us! The dog whisperer and us! over 3 hours. We learned all the
things we are doing wrong and have been doing wrong since May! Haha!
Oscar will have her for the next 3 weeks. We sure are hoping for
success!

Graduation!
Graduation is such a wonderful time at CINCEL! They come! They go! The purpose of Cincel is to teach language skills, learn to read culture and keep your Spirit life alive. Some missionaries come for 8 months and some for 1 year. When they come it is a time of huge adjustment. Adjusting to Cincel life and community, adjusting to classroom learning, adjusting to not having a personal vehicle and using Buses and Taxis, adjusting to new food and cooking differently. The children have to adjust, the lack of personal family members like grama and cousins, adjusting to their new school, and so much more.
Once the adjustment is complete, it's time to leave and adjust yet again. Adjust to their country of service with all the many different things, different from America and different from Costa Rica. What a life!
Graduation brings many tears and many smiles. Hopefully more smiles than tears!

Cincel's beautiful staff
We honored the staff at a Christmas luncheon at a local buffet real close to the school. It was delightful. We love being in the company of the staff, not just working together, but also spending time together outside of the 4 walls! What better time to do that but at Christmas time.
