A precious welcome..

I wondered why Denn wouldn't let me go on the San Jose City Tour on Friday. After an orientation session, all the new students left with a guide to learn where the bus stop is for going downtown and then took a walking tour of San Jose. They returned just in time to get their children from school. I assumed we were going and Denn replied, "No, we can't go on this one, we have our first official meeting with the staff." Ok sounded good to me! I was in the library and he came and got me and said OK IT'S TIME! time for what?? I walked into the chapel with a beautiful lunch and everyone wishing me BIENVENIDOS! It was lovely. Then a little later, they brought me gifts. Needless to say, I was so excited! I love arroz con pollo and frijoles. There were chips of all kinds to go with the meal. A plant for my new office. and a teapot from the market for the house.
