Graduate Dinner

The Ram Luna is a restaurant that overlooks San Jose. We had never been so it was an extra treat for us along with our new directors Dave and Carol Ellis to accompany the graduates for a beautiful dinner. I think we have started a new tradition! It was lovely. Ram Luna serves typical Costa Rican food and the facility is absolutely gorgeous. On a non rainy night the overlook view is breathtaking. Unfortunately it was very foggy the night we went, we are coming very close to our 7 months of rainy season.

Graduation Day! April 2014

Our CINCEL year is divided into 3 trimesters. Graduations then occur in April, August, and December. I love preparing for the beautiful occasions. In December it is easy to decorate with poinsettias and gold. Since this graduation was near Easter I decided to use an Easter theme using purple and the reception afterwards was with typical Easter treats like Rice pudding, tuna pastries and other delectables.

A very special guest came to preach the graduation. Our new regional directors, Dave and Carol Ellis. It was simply wonderful in every way! One I will remember for a long time. Since the staff had not met the new directors we chose to host a cafecito before the graduation with the Ellis's and the staff. Oh my! It was terrific. They are so easy to love and so comfortable with people that it turned out to be the best thing we could have ever done!

The graduation ceremony was simply beautiful. Denn gave a devotional to start the day combining Easter with graduation. It was terrific. Then the worship was incredible! God be glorified. Dave spoke on Joseph. WOW! tremendous.

Spanish Communion

At the end of each trimester we share Semana Santa together for the last Spanish chapel. We held it in the library this time and it was so very beautiful. Denny shared a devotional, then the academic assistant served the elements. It was truly beautiful.
