Calvary Irwin!

In 1997 we candidated at Calvary and lo and behold we were voted in! What a day. We were actually surprised because we had never senior pastored before. They must have been desperate! We had 3 years there before the headquarters called and asked me to direct Missionettes. Since then lots of water has gone under the bridge. We have many friends still in Irwin and the surrounding area. Whenever we pass through we always stop to see friends. This trip though was a little different. The new pastor invited us to lunch, has picked us up in support and even took care of our room for the night. He said, no former pastor will pass through Irwin and we not take care of them. He has scored tons of points in our book. Not for just his care of us but his passion for the community and wanting to do the right things. I only regret I didn't get a photo with him. God bless Pastor Nick. The property is still so beautiful.
