The interesting thing about the first one is that last Friday in chapel we prayed with the students that we would all have an encounter with someone that weekend that needed Jesus. We left the school and decided to go to the Spain restaurant to eat, when we walked in the door it was as if we had come home to family. Juan the owner sat with us for the entire meal. We reminisced about our time in Spain and he talked about his life here in Costa Rica. His wife Katy was behind the counter and then joined in later. We are so grateful for this encounter and we will pursue our time with them continually as we really feel that it was a God set-up!
The second Spain restaurant is quite near to Cincel. We enjoyed the company of missionary students to Ecuador. They will be leaving Cincel to work in the Ecuadorian jungles. Amazing. The commitment of families to a people that many don't know exist. We are so overwhelmed with the quality of missionaries that come to Cincel to learn the language and learn to read the culture of another country all for the sake of the Gospel.
