I will never forget...

The family that Ryan has married into is fabulous. So much ministry, so much A/G DNA, so much history in God, so many things that I find hard to even comprehend.

The extended family had arrived on Wednesday. Shelly and Randy, Lauren's parents scheduled a time of extended family to meet Ryan the day before the wedding at a family breakfast held at the Church. It was incredible. Any extended family that had already arrived was invited. This was not just for a family breakfast but also for a time of blessing and speaking into Lauren and Ryan's life.

Can you imagine how this went with this entire group being Christian, all of them knowing the dynamic of the Spirit that has to reside in a marriage. All of them loving and pouring into Ryan and Lauren. It was a happening I will never forget. The time together was for 2 hours, then the grandparents went to "Ride the Ducks" and the rest decorated the sanctuary and the reception hall. It was amazing!

They blessed the couple with scripture, stories, memories, words of blessing and then at the end Randy asked if any one wanted to give a one sentence prayer to feel free to go ahead. While waiting for who was going to go first, Ryan prayed for his bride. He thanked God for his bride. There had already been tears, when that happened, I have to say, I cried too.

This pre wedding event was a highlight of the entire week. We celebrated in so many ways all week, however this moment was priceless. I thank God for Ryan's new family. We have prayed for Lauren his entire life, it wasn't in vain.
