Sarchi! one of my favorite places...

Sarchi holds some really special memories for me. My parents who are not travelers came to Costa Rica in 1986 to visit us. We had such a special week. They had never been out of the country and especially coming to a place where they couldn't communicate was especially intimidating. They still speak about the trip! One of the places where my mom spent lots of money was Sarchi! She had a ball. When I left to come to Costa Rica, 2 people gave me a financial gift and I knew exactly what I was going to do with the money. I wanted to buy a rocker for me and one for my new daughter in love, Lauren. I have been saving the money since I arrived and the Christmas break gave us opportunity to go and also for Renee to see Sarchi. The place where furniture is made and oxcarts are painted. Oxcarts used to be functional, today they are simply made for decoration. Maybe I can start saving for a cart!
