Volcano Poas

Costa Rica has some active volcanoes. When Denn was a student here in 2003 we visited Volcano Arenal and the children loved it. We rode by horseback as close to the volcano as we could. Black ash was falling on our faces and clothes. It was actually quite a memory. Poas is very nearer to our house. We woke up really early to arrive before the cloud cover blocked our view.
